You are seeing a prompt to safeguard your documents in Aura Vault because your employer offers MetLife+Aura Identity and Fraud protection as a voluntary benefit. If you are enrolled in Identity and Fraud Protection, you can link your account to the Legal Plans portal for seamless, secure storage of important documents.
No, Vault is only available if you are enrolled MetLife + Aura Identity and Fraud Protection. If you enroll in the future, the Vault feature will be unlocked in your Legal Plans portal. In the meantime, you can always access a digital copy of your Digital Estate Plan and other documents in your Legal Plans portal.
Have you successfully logged in to Aura before?
If so, enter your existing Aura username and password to link your account to MetLife Legal Plans. You may use the “Forgot Password” option if you need to reset your Aura credentials.
If not, try using the “Activate my account” option. This will prompt you to verify your personal information (name, birthday, and last four digits of SSN) and then allow you to create your Aura username and password.
Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is any representation of information that permits the identity of an individual to whom the information applies to be reasonably inferred by either direct or indirect means, e.g., (name, birthday, and last four digits of SSN).
If you’ve already activated your Aura account, please use the Sign In option to link your credentials. The Personal Identifiable Information (PII) Verification option will only work for new users who are accessing their Aura account for the first time.
